BEST WIRE STRIPPING TOOL

An Automatic Wire stripper is such a neat and useful tool

Most people enjoy working on their classic cars, whether it is a Porsche or a Mini, a Volkswagen or a BMW. What most people do not like – and I’m no exception – is electricity. I do not really like all these wires, relays and connectors. But sometimes something has to be fixed, and you do not want to go to a store to have a broken cable repaired.

What always bothered me was that there is no reasonable pliers to strip cables. I had this simple thing where you had to know which diameter the cable has, 0.5mm, 0.75mm, 1mm, 1.5mm. Way too complicated. Then this friend gave me this wire stripper here, which makes it much easier. No matter how thick the cable is, just insert the cable, press the pliers and the front of the cable is beautifully stripped.

Good thing is, you can adjust the stripping length and the pliers can handle diameters of 0,2mm to 6mm automatically. And it’s got a v-shaped cutting knife as well. Such a great little tool!

How to use a Wire stripper?

  1. Adjust the stripping length
  2. Insert the cable
  3. Press the stripping pliers
  4. Done!

It’s really that easy. Everyone should have this in his or her garage!
