Over time, I ended up building most of my setup around Ryobi – not because it’s the most expensive brand, but because it simply works. Reliable, affordable, and most importantly: one battery system for everything.

My Recommended Starter Setup (Keep it Simple)
👉 If I had to start over today, this is exactly what I would buy.
1. Drill Driver (Your Most Important Tool)
If you only buy one tool – make it this. A good drill driver does almost everything: drilling, screwing, assembling, fixing.
It’s the one tool you’ll use every single time you start a project.
👉 I actually own two, just to avoid constantly switching bits.
2. Impact Wrench (For Cars & Tough Jobs)
Perfect if you’re working on cars – changing wheels, loosening bolts, anything that’s stuck.
This is where you feel the difference between manual tools and power tools immediately.
3. LED Work Light (Underrated but Essential)
Good light changes everything. Whether you’re under a car or working late in the garage – this is one of those tools you didn’t know you needed until you have it.
4. Battery (Don’t Cheap Out Here)
The battery is the heart of the system.
Stick with original Ryobi batteries – they last longer, perform better, and save you frustration.
5. Fast Charger
Once you have more than one tool, a fast charger makes a real difference. Less waiting, more working.
What You Don’t Need (Yet)
